Roller Skating

I just got back from taking Kaiden for his 1st time of roller skating. When we first got there he started to cry that he didn't want to do it. I managed to get his skates on and I walked around with him 1 or 2 times. After that, he said go to the side mom. This made me nervous because let's face it, he sucked at roller skating. But I did as I was instructed and he did great! Of course he fell a lot but he got right back up and kept going. He had a blast!

Kaiden's 1st lost tooth!

Kaiden has had a loose tooth. On Saturday, Jon was brushing his teeth. Kaiden told him not to touch that tooth but he had to brush them. Well, when he did the tooth came right out at 4 yrs and 5 months old! Kaiden immediately got freaked out and started crying. We talked to him about it and how he will get another big boy tooth and he then decided it was ok. Plus, he got to put it under his pillow.
He was so excited the next day when he got his money. I asked him what he wanted to do with it and he said save it. Yay! He decided he wanted to save it! So we put it in his piggy (or should I say) turtle bank.
When I upload the pics I will add one. He looks so cute!

Christmas Celebrations

I've been trying to post about Christmas for about a week now but couldn't get the pics to upload but now I have finally succeeded.
Every year we go many places to celebrate Christmas. The following are 4 of the bigger celebrations.

A Yorgey Christmas

Every year all the Yorgey's get together to celebrate Christmas. Usually it is somwhere between Christmas and new years. This year it was on the 28th. The family is growing so much though, that we had to have the celebration at a nearby church. The grandchildren acted out the Christmas story for Nana and Grandpop who loved seeing them all in costume! Here are some of the pics.

Christmas morning

So Christmas morning we were able to stay home and hang out for awhile. Kaiden, of course, was up at six asking to come downstairs. The night before he left out some Teddy Grahams trail mix(we didn't have any cookies) for Santa and was excited to see if Santa came and ate the snack and more importantly left him some presents. So after a little while we finally came downstairs with him. He was so excited. Santa made a mess with his snack (I guess he was in a hurry) and left Kaiden a little note. He even dropped some of the presents in the fireplace.
This Christmas was the best one yet for excitement from Kaiden and appreciation for most presents. He wasn't too thrilled to the The Goonies and Gremlins but little does he know that they are classics he will grow to love! He keeps calling last Christmas "the first Christmas" because it's the only one he remembers. It cracks me up every time. Well, here are a few shots of the morning.
Jon chillin with Mack: Kaiden getting Monster Jam for Wii where he can smash cars and race just like the real trucks!
